When watching TV or reading your local news paper, often times you will hear petroleum crude costing X dollars per barrel. Did you know the barrel size they are speaking of is only 42 US gallons and not 55 as most people think?

DID YOU KNOW...
Due to only one loading terminal being in Panama City we must rely on other terminals in Northwest Florida and South Georgia for product. Frequently we have to travel a great distance on most occasions to get the product that you request. If the Panama City terminal does not have the product, we must go to Freeport, Niceville or even Bainbridge Georgia.

DID YOU KNOW...
Most people do not realize that fuel jobbers such as ourselves, can load many different products at one terminal. Chevron USA is the only terminal located in Panama City. At this terminal we can load BP, Citgo, Exxon, Texaco and Chevron products, plus many independent wholesale manufacturers products. All products come from the same tank and loading arm. However each major supplier has an additive package that is injected into the product during the time the product is being loaded on a tanker truck.

A full size tractor trailer tanker truck can carry as much as 9,200 gallons in a single load?

DID YOU KNOW...
A full size tractor trailer tanker truck can carry as many as 5-6 different products on the same load? Each tanker has many different compartments. Each compartment can carry a different product. Many times a driver will deliver to a customer all 3 grades of gasoline and on road and off road diesel on the same load.

DID YOU KNOW...
Tanker trucks can be loaded at a rate of 600 gallons per minute? If a driver can load all compartments at the same time, an entire transport can be loaded in less than 10 minutes! However, this is not good practice for safety reasons, but it can be done.
